Single minute exchange of dies or quick change over.
KIAZEN
Japanese name for a continuous improvement approach.
POKE YOKE
Japanese name for error proofing a process to stop failures getting downstream to the customer.
CEDAC
Cause and Effects Diagram ( Ishikawa fishbone ) using Action Cards and Pareto analysis
STORMPLAN
Group brainstorming, clustering of ideas and forming an action plan.
SPC
Statistical Process Control, controlling a process within set parameters.
FMEA
Failure mode and effects Analysis. Identifying potential process failure risks, coming up with actions to reduce the risk.
KANBAN
Japanese name for signalling action i.e. empty box returned to be filled.

Making visible Key Performance Indicators, objectives and action plans through out the business.
